Let Me Be Clear is a song about the end of a relationship, and getting clarity on that end so you can move forward.  It’s about being honest and saying all the things you couldn’t or wouldn’t say to your significant other, while also taking the good from that person and experience in order to gain closure.  I wrote the song while having to quarantine over the holidays this past year.  I couldn’t fly out of New York to see my family, and it gave me some time to reflect, write, and record.  I self produced and mixed this song, which took me months to learn the technical proficiency to produce the recording that I felt honored the song and the idea.  I’m very proud to write a song like this and to create a recording that I think perfectly encapsulates this feeling, and I think it’s very relatable to anyone both in and out of love.
